Peter Whitfield
Born in Feilding, New Zealand. Peter Whitfield commenced
a career in the international air cargo industry with Air
New Zealand in 1966, joined a major UK-based forwarding
agent in 1969, and was transferred to Melbourne Australia
as Regional Sales Manager in 1973. Mr. Whitfield returned
to New Zealand in 1975 and set up a new airfreight forwarding
business, which was sold in 1978. Soon after he took up
an equity position with a large Australian based forwarder
and grew the business to enable a sale to a US group in
1985. He then purchased Universal Air Cargo Pty Ltd, (UAC)
a small wholesale forwarder with two offices, 11 employees
and $800,000 in annual sales.
UAC now has 10 offices in three countries (USA, Australia
and New Zealand) and has annual sales of over $50 million.
In addition to holding the major shareholding in UAC and
maintaining the position of Chairman and CEO, Mr. Whitfield
also has financial interests in the wine industry, and owns
a substantial position in both a digital animated film production
company and a computer peripheral business (all in Australia).
He serves on the Boards of Directors of the four companies.
Mr. Whitfield received his degree in Commerce and Administration
from Victoria University, and now resides in Manhattan Beach,
California.
Pete Egoscue
You can't pigeonhole Pete Egoscue. He doesn't fit into
a nice, neat category. He has no formal medical or physical
therapy training. In fact, he graduated with an undergraduate
degree in Political Science from Utah State University,
specializing in "jockdom" (or sports). He then
went on to serve as an Infantry Officer in the United States
Marine Corps for ten years, resigning his commission in
1978 as a Major. In an effort to describe or put a label
on him, long time friend and client Jack Nicklaus calls
Pete an "Anatomical Functionalist" and goes on
to say, "Pete Egoscue has totally changed my life.
Never have I experienced such complete pain relief as I
have by following the Egoscue Method." Pete's publisher,
Bantam Books prefers the term "Anatomical Physiologist"
when referring to Pete being consulted by some of the biggest
names in sports and entertainment. But the bottom line is
that Pete Egoscue has been successfully helping people relieve
themselves of chronic pain since 1978.
He has authored four books, including the best selling
book, Pain Free. He is also host of the extremely popular,
nationally syndicated talk radio show, Pain Free. When you
ask Pete to put a label on himself, he says, "I'm the
Posture guy". Pretty modest for a man who is responsible
for establishing over 18 clinics (and counting), world wide,
with corporate headquarters in San Diego, California. In
fact, the Egoscue Method is "the world leader in non-medical
pain relief". Pete Egoscue is responsible for creating
a therapy method that relieves chronic pain, and encourages
peak physical performance for the young, the old, the athlete,
the non-athlete, the famous, and the infamous. This unique
method is based on the body's functional design - or posture.
Therefore, to put it simply, Pete Egoscue is a "Posture
Therapist" - a very good one! To learn more about The
Egoscue Method, and the body's miraculous ability to heal

Jack Nicklaus
No name is more synonymous with greatness in the sport
of golf than the name Jack Nicklaus, and no single person
has changed the face of the sport more than Jack Nicklaus,
the player, the designer, and the goodwill ambassador.
Jack has been named "Golfer of the Century" or
"Golfer of the Millennium" by almost every major
golf publication in the world. He was also named Individual
Male Athlete of the Century by Sports Illustrated, and one
of the 10 Greatest Athletes of the Century by ESPN. Early
in 2001, Jack was honored with the first-ever ESPY Lifetime
Achievement Award, and he became the first golfer -- and
only the third athlete -- to receive the Vince Lombardi
Award of Excellence. Recently, he was honored with the Muhammad
Ali Sports Legend Award.
Jack's competitive career has spanned five decades, and
his legend has been built with 100 professional tournament
victories worldwide and a record 20 major-championship titles.
He is the only player in history to have won each of the
game's majors at least twice (six Masters, five PGA Championships,
four U.S. Opens, three British Opens, and two U.S. Amateurs),
and is the only player to have completed the career "Grand
Slam" on both the regular and senior tours.
The legacy Jack has left as a player can be rivaled only
by the legacy he is leaving as a golf course designer.
Jack was named GolfWorld Architect of the Year in 1993,
and in 1999, Golf Digest named him the world's leading active
designer. In 2001, he was named recipient of both the Donald
Ross Award (American Society of Golf Course Architects)
and the Donald Rossi Award (Golf Course Builders Association
of America), and was honored with the International Network
of Golf's Achievement in Golf Course Design Award for 2000-2001.
